Peace, Love & Live Music in Downtown Dunnville
Downtown Dunnville is turning back the clock for a groovy night of music, food, shopping, and community celebration. The Back to the 70’s Queen Street Dance, proudly sponsored by the Dunnville BIA, invites residents and visitors to experience the energy and charm of our historic downtown. Local restaurants will be serving up delicious food along Queen Street, while BIA retailers welcome Mudcat Festival vendors to join them for a lively sidewalk sale starting at 10:00 AM Thursday morning.
Spend the day exploring local shops, meeting artisans and vendors, and enjoying the vibrant atmosphere that makes downtown Dunnville such a special place. As the evening rolls in, the street comes alive with music as The Black Stones take the stage at 5:00 PM, bringing classic hits and great vibes for a night of dancing and celebration in the heart of our community.

This year’s live music lineup brings together talented Niagara musicians performing everything from classic country to funk, soul, and disco favourites. Grab dinner from one of our downtown restaurants, meet friends along the street, and settle in for a night where great music, dancing, and community spirit set the tone for the Mudcat Festival weekend.
The Black Stones
5:30pm – 6:30pm
Kicking off the evening are The Blackstones, performing as an acoustic guitar and fiddle duo that captures the timeless sound of 1970s country music. Based in Niagara Falls, Ontario, their relaxed style and classic country favourites create the perfect early-evening atmosphere as the street fills with people ready to enjoy a night of live music and celebration.

The Niagara Soul Shakers
7:00pm – 8:00pm & 8:30pm – 9:30pm
As the night builds, The Niagara Soul Shakers take the stage with a powerful seven-piece band featuring a three-piece horn section. Their setlist is packed with funk, soul, disco, and other unforgettable hits from the 70s, bringing big brass, infectious grooves, and high-energy rhythms that will keep the street moving well into the evening.

This year for the Queen Street Dance, we’re keeping the food local. Instead of food trucks, we’re inviting our Downtown Dunnville restaurants to showcase what they do best. Each location will be offering a limited festival menu designed for quick, grab-and-go service, making it easy to enjoy their delicious specialties while strolling the street, listening to live music, and soaking in the Mudcat Festival atmosphere.
Passmores
