Ahoy, mateys! Get ready to set sail for the Dunnville Mudcat Festival Parade, proudly presented by Pet Valu! This year’s theme is PIRATES, so gather your crew, don your finest pirate attire, and decorate your float for a swashbuckling adventure down the streets of Dunnville. With a costume and float contest (details coming soon), it’s your chance to show off your creativity and claim treasure-worthy prizes! Don’t miss the fun—register now and join us on Saturday, June 14th, with the parade kicking off at 10:30 a.m. sharp. Let’s make waves and celebrate our community spirit—yo ho, yo ho, a pirate’s life for all!
Parade starts at 10:30am and will commence at Broad and George as it travels downtown doing a loop and ending back at Lions Park down Lock.
New! 2025 Parade Contest
To bring some extra excitement to this year’s event, we’re thrilled to announce a new parade contest with several fun categories! We will have three judges present during the parade to evaluate all entries.

Best Business
Best Sports Team
Best Animal Group or Business
Reminder: This year’s parade theme is Pirates—so feel free to incorporate pirate flair into your float, costumes, and presentation throughout the festival!
Winners will be announced on Sunday, June 15 at 1:00 PM on the Wingfield Park Stage. Each winning group will receive a trophy to commemorate their achievement in the 2025 Mudcat Parade.
