Slow Pitch Tournament at the 2026 Dunnville Mudcat Festival

One of the events people asked to see return is back for the 50th Anniversary of the Dunnville Mudcat Festival — the Slow Pitch Tournament.

Gather your team and get ready for a full day of ball, friendly competition, and festival fun. This co-ed tournament is all about bringing people together, enjoying the game, and adding another great tradition back into Mudcat weekend.

Whether you’re playing to win or just coming out for the love of the game, we’re excited to welcome teams back to the diamond.

Tournament Format

The 2026 Dunnville Mudcat Festival Slow Pitch Tournament will feature:

  • The format is co-ed, double elimination, wooden bat.
  • Teams must have a minimum of 10 players and a maximum of 14.
  • Each player must be a minimum of 17 years old to play – with parental consent. Forms can be filled out at the registration table day of.
  • Male to female ratio shall be a maximum of 6 men and a minimum of 4 women on the field at all times.
  • Each game shall be 60 min in duration.
  • No new inning will begin with less than 15 minutes remaining in the game.
  • The tournament will begin promptly at 10:00am. Please arrive early to ensure registration is complete, your team is warmed up and ready to play.
  • There will be a 1 hour lunch break between the last semi-final game and the final game.
