Whether you’re sitting riverside or enjoying the view from Wingfield Park, this Mudcat Festival tradition is the perfect way to celebrate the end of an incredible Saturday.
But the festival fun doesn’t stop there—the Mudcat Festival continues on Sunday with more family-friendly events and community activities, so the celebration carries on for one more day in Dunnville.

Help Us Keep the Fireworks Over the Grand
The Mudcat Festival Fireworks have been a cherished tradition for generations, lighting up the Dunnville sky and bringing our community together along the banks of the Grand River. But like many things, the cost of fireworks has changed dramatically over the years. In 1988, a 20-minute fireworks show cost about $7,000. Today, producing the same kind of spectacular display costs close to $40,000.
For many years, one of the biggest challenges of organizing the Mudcat Festival has been ensuring that we can continue this beloved tradition.
